Arisaig Marine Ltd

Cruises to Eigg, Muck and Rhum and Whale watching. May to September 7 days a week. 50 long and short term moorings also avaliable.

The Nevis Centre

The Nevis Centre is Fort William's multi-purpose meeting place and Events Venue which has recently been redesigned to provide a great experience for everyone. The Nevis Centre offers events all year round - functions, sports activities, competitions, live music and art, business conferences and Ceilidhs. Our What's On page provides listings of current and forthcoming events at the Nevis Centre. The Nevis Centre has a specially designed play area; an area set aside for local youngers to meet and enjoy time together, a 10 pin bowling alley with adjacent bar and lounge. Our Cafe Bar offers an airport style coffee bar for meeting friends or planning your day.

Eagle-Watch Wildlife Cruises

Open: Easter - October. Unique guided cruises on the stunning, sheltered inland waters of Loch Shiel. Share the skipper’s ten years experience of spotting Golden Eagles, Red Deer and Black-throated Divers while learning the history of this special, remote and unspoiled part of the Highlands. Private Charter available all year. Covered and open seating. Toilet, Bar, Tea & Coffee.

Fired Art

Located at the west end of Fort William high street, Fired Art is an innovative, paint-your-own-pottery studio incorporating a professional picture-framing service, a warm welcoming cafe and a gallery exhibiting the cream of local artistic talent. Also a top notch coffee shop!

Highland Activities

Highland Activities are a modern multi activity company with two centres in the Fort William area. Our centre at Invergarry at Great Glen Water Park offers a whole host of fun and exciting outdoor activities and adventure sports including: white water rafting, canyoning & gorge walking, canoeing & kayaking, mountain biking, water skiing and wakeboarding, clay pigeon shooting, archery & paintball. Our centre at Arverikie Estate is a spectacular and special place where can enjoy activities such as quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, 4x4 driving, 4x4 safaris, archery and paintball. Crannog Cruises

Journey amid abundant wildlife and the spectacular scenery of Fort William's Loch Linnhe. These waters and the surrounding coastline provide a beautiful unspoilt haven for wildlife. Species such as grey herron, oyster catchers, guillemots, cormorants, eider ducks and swans are regularly seen. Rockhopper

Sea kayak tuition and expeditions.

Rockhopper Sea Kayaking is a fully mobile provider of guided sea kayaking trips and sea kayaking instruction based near Fort William on the West Coast of Scotland.

Sea kayaking is a really safe and fun activity enabling you to journey through new areas and explore uninhabited islands. Our kayaks are long and stable, easy to manoeuvre and paddle in a straight line. This is a great trip for an atmospheric rainy day, and you'll have the chance to spot seals and other marine wildlife as we paddle.

Nevis Range Mountain Gondola

All year round mountain gondola taking visitors 2150ft up Aonach Mor beside Ben Nevis. Enjoy stunning views of down the Great Glen and out to the Small Isles and Skye.

Nevispix

Based in the Great Glen 10 miles north of Spean Bridge, Nevispix offers a variety of Photography workshops, photo safaris and tours. Trips start from our studio in South Laggan and transport is in a comfortable VW minibus. Full day trips include a picnic lunch and equipment such as tripods and reflectors are available for clients' use. See the website for further details.

Wild West

Wild West offer wildlfe safaris from 2 hours to a full day, based in the Great Glen. Full day trips include a boat trip on Loch Hourn. Species regularly seen include red deer, golde eagle, sea eagle & seals amongst many others
