Information for Groups

Time Required

Most groups visiting Nevis Range allow a minimum of one hour for their stay. The cable car trip itself takes approximately 15 minutes each way, rotating on a continuous cycle so minimal queuing can be expected. Additional time may be required if members of your group wish to walk along to either of the viewpoints to admire the stunning views or if you wish to make use of the restaurant as a meal stop.

Additional Facilities

  • Welcome on arrival - Staff at the centre are more than willing to welcome your group to Nevis Range on arrival, providing details about the experience itself and the facilities that are available to them. This is also an ideal time to answer any queries that members of your group may have
  • Free parking - The centre has ample parking with a coach drop-off point directly outside the base station
  • Disabled access - The cable cars can accommodate most wheelchairs up to 60cm wide, and can be slowed down or stopped to help access

Group Discounts

Discounts are available for groups of 12 or more people when the tickets are purchased in a single transaction.

Booking

If your group only wish to take a trip on the gondola, then pre booking is not necessary, as the gondola runs on a continuous cycle so can accommodate large groups at any time during the day.

If your group wishes to make use of the catering facilities, or are interested in taking part in any of the onsite activities, i.e. skiing, snowboarding or mountain biking, then pre booking is advised.
